VISION

Skill Education and Welfare Association (SEWA) Council of Skill and Vocational Studies holds a vision to focus on establishing effective and efficient ecosystem for developing and imparting skills in the Indian Industry & Working Sector, through relevant content, curriculum, courses, information database, delivery systems, standardisation of the accreditation and certification process, to enhance the employability of the Indian workforce nationally and globally. The then Union Finance Minister Shri P. Chidambaram had also once announced that “There is a compelling need to launch a world-class skill development programme in a mission mode that will address the challenge of imparting the skills required by a growing economy. As skill development is the uprising soul of the developing India.

MISSION

Skill Education and Welfare Association (SEWA) Council of Skill and Vocational Studies as an Autonomous & Voluntary Organisation is working for the development of literacy and creating awareness among the masses about Skill, Vocational, Science & Technological Education and striving for their upliftment in all spheres of life. It is also focused to upgrade the standards, curriculum and quality assurance as per international norms by involving necessary framework and measures. It also plans to involve private sectors along with public sectors to enhance the support and coordination in prioritising the initiative that will work as a catalyst in building a great market for bringing in funds for making things function smoothly and reach out to masses along with upgraded technologies.
